Those aren't zombies because zombies don;t give off a heat signature as shown above.

Those aren't zombies. If they were, They wouldn't be able to run, they'd have no heat signature and they woulndn't so easily have pulled that guy limb from limb. My speculation is that these are something more like the infected from I Am Legend, or Left 4 Dead, where they are still living people, but with a highly mutative, fluid transmitted disease. I guess at a glance, one could call them zombies for simplicity's sake, but from a techinical perspective, they aren't.
